Mexican Abraham Ancer has won the 2018 Emirates Australian Open at The Lakes Golf Club.
Starting the day with a commanding five shot lead, Ancer ran away with the title firing rounds of 69, 69, 65, 69 for a tournament total 16-under 272.
A five shot winner, this is Ancer’s first victory since the 2015 Nova Scotia Open on the Web.com Tour.
From Sydney Ancer heads to the ISPS HANDA Melbourne World Cup of where he will team up with Robert Diaz to represent Mexico at Metropolitan Golf Club next week.
